Metrobuddy
Metrobuddy is a smart urban mobility application designed to help commuters navigate the Dubai Metro system through real-time train schedules, route planning, navigation assistance, and attraction discovery.Built for both iOS and Android, the platform combines commuter convenience with city exploration while supporting future integration opportunities with Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA).
The Challenge
The client needed to transform an underutilized metro application into a practical, real-time navigation platform capable of delivering accurate train timings, intelligent route guidance, and location-based commuter assistance.The platform also required organized attraction management, proximity-based alerts, turn-by-turn navigation, and administrative analytics capabilities suitable for future government-level integration.
The Solution
We redesigned and rebuilt the platform using a user-centric approach powered by Flutter, Node.js, and Google APIs to create a seamless metro navigation experience.
